MSA-Oswego Winged Challenge Series Heads to Lorain Speedway

                                                                       By Chris Meyers
The MSA-Oswego Winged Challenge series will head to Lorain County Speedway
on Saturday June 20th, 2009 to do battle for forty green flag and action
packed laps on the exciting 3/8's mile. This will mark the first time the
challenge series will put a race on at the speedway. This race will feature
some of the most talented and best supermodified drivers from both the PPG
Vibrance Collection Midwest Supermodified Association and the Oswego
Speedway. Local fans who might not have the opportunity to see the Oswego
drivers are encouraged to come out and witness what is shaping up to be a
great race.

Thus far in the 2009 season, Trent Stephens, Mark Sammut, and Timmy
Jedrzejek have all picked up wins in MSA competition. Ray Graham Jr. and
Otto Sitterly have picked up wins at the Oswego Speedway. Stephen Gioia III,
Tim Snyder, and Pat Lavery are Oswego drivers coming off great runs and look
forward to keep the momentum going. In both series, any driver can win on
any given night and this race is expected to be no different.

A full field of competitors is expected including MSA regulars Randy Burch,
Timmy Jedrzejek, Jon Henes, Charlie Schultz, Jack Smith, Rich Reid, Tim Ice,
and Matt Palmer. South Amherst residents Jimmy Paller and Bobby Dawson will
be two hometown drivers also competing. In 2008, "Chargin" Charlie Schultz
dominated Lorain Speedway with three impressive wins in the May Motorsports
machine. Bobby Dawson also picked up a win at the track as well in the
Reed's Salvage machine. Other divisions racing on the evening include the
open-wheel modifieds, street stocks, road course warriors, and the chargers.
Pit gates are slated to open at 2:30 pm. Main gates will open at 3 pm.
Practice will start at 3:30 pm with qualifying to follow at 4:45pm. Racing
is scheduled to start at 7pm.

To get to the Lorain County Speedway, take the Ohio turnpike to State Route
